The Syracuse University Brass Ensemble is composed of thirty eight members of the Syracuse University faculty and staff, the S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University faculty and staff and accomplished musicians from surrounding communities. The ensemble is a year round organization which presents approximately sixteen performances yearly including recitals on the Syracuse University Campus and several performances in the surrounding communities. The repertoire of the ensemble includes music from all major musical periods.

Accomplished brass players who are interested in playing in the ensemble are encouraged to call Prof. James T. Spencer, at 443-3436. The group meets every Monday in the Hendricks Chapel on the SU campus at 7:30 p.m.
